Evilvice and Yeah have secured spots in the Americas Minor South America closed qualifier after placing top two in the second open qualifier.
A total of 36 teams participated in the second South America open qualifier for a chance to reach the closed qualifier and join the likes of Sharks, INTZ and Isurus.
The single-elimination bracket saw Gabriel "crt" França & co. get off to a slow start in the open bracket, with a sluggish overtime win over WePlayGames. The Brazilians then managed ramp things up and eased past their opponents before defeating NOORG in two maps, booking their spot in the closed qualifier.

On the other side of the bracket, Evilvice cruised through, as a forfeit win paired them up against DETONA, where Cristian "LEEROY" Quijada and his men defeated the Brazilians 16-9. Evilvice then went up against Bragantino in the BO3 decider, where the Chileans swept Rodrigo "drg" Ausenka and his troops 2-0 to reach the closed qualifier.
Evilvice and Yeah are the final two teams to complete the eight team closed qualifier, which is slated to start November 17-18, where two teams will have a chance to qualify for the Americas Minor.
