Mythic through to DH Stockholm
Mythic are the first North American team to have qualified for DreamHack Open Stockholm after seeing off Conquest 2-1 (26-21 on de_cache, 7-16 on de_mirage and 16-7 on de_dust2).
The first half of the North American pre-qualifier for the Cluj major came to an end on Friday with Mythic showcasing proving they are still very much a force to be reckoned with after being left without an organisation in July.
The former Luminosity Gaming squad began their campaign by defeating Method 2-1 to set up a semi-final clash against Conquest, who made light work of Games Academy in the last-eight stage.
LeX's Mythic will attend DH Open Stockholm
Mythic opened up the series against the ex-Sponsorless team quite well, taking a 26-21 win on de_cache. Conquest then restored parity following a 16-7 thrashing on de_mirage thanks to great performances from Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan and Damian "daps" Steele, only to collapse on de_dust2 as Mythic ran out 16-7 winners.

The qualifier will resume on Monday with Team Liquid facing h00liGaNz. The winner of the match will face compLexity for a spot at DreamHack Open Stockholm, from September 22-26.
